"Two new releases from prolific fiction authors Jeffrey Deaver and Janet Evanovich will find homes at the Alachua County Library. Out June 8, "The Burning Wire," by Deaver, follows quadriplegic forensic criminologist Lincoln Rhyme as he enlists help to find a killer terrorizing New York City with molten-inducing electrical surges.
Evanovich's "Sizzling Sixteen," the sixteenth installment in the humor-mystery Stephanie Plum series, about a fashion buyer turned bail bonds woman from New Jersey, comes out June 22, Gambardella said. The series will be made into a feature film with actress Katherine Heigl portraying the lead role."

is eager to read "The Glass Rainbow: A Dave
Robicheaux Novel," by James
Lee Burke, available July 13. "He is such a clear-eyed chronicler of
the unique culture of south Louisiana," said Evans, who plans to take
the fiction crime thriller on her next research trip.
Burke's book will be available at the Alachua County Library, along with "The Rembrandt Affair," by Daniel Silva, which comes out July 20, said Gail Moss, a supervisor for the library district. Silva's fiction piece follows protagonist Gabriel Allon as he searches the globe for a killer responsible for the death of an art restorer and stealing a long-lost Rembrandt portrait."

Alachua County librarian Daniel Barden selects adult nonfiction and
recommends Chelsea Handler's "Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang," which was
released in March. The comedienne, actress and writer weaves comedic
essays about her first sexual encounters, practical jokes played on her
family and even imagined stories about a transgendered friend.
