ACLD Foundation

The Foundation's mission is to provide supplemental funding to the library with an emphasis on long-term support and planned giving. Our vision is to enhance the District's ability to enrich the lives of everyone in our community.

The Foundation's major goal is to manage and continue to build our endowment, which will provide funds for the Library District annually. Funds are generated through Foundation membership dues, Author Galas, memorial and gift recognition leaves on Katherine's Tree at the Headquarters Library, and gift donations.

On occasion, the Foundation has chosen to support special projects for the Library District. In 2012, the Foundation contributed $25,000 to the Library District to create a Teen Space in the Headquarters Library. In 2007, the renovation of a Headquarters meeting room was underwritten by the Foundation. The room was renamed in honor of the Foundation. Find out more at www.acldfound.org.
