Children's Book Week was established in 1919, and sponsored by the Children’s Book Council. Each year, books for young people and the joy of reading are celebrated for a full week with fun book-related events at schools, libraries, bookstores, museums and homes from coast to coast!
Join us @ the Headquarter’s Library on Tuesday, May 8th at 3:00 PM for the 2nd Annual Children’s Book Week Open Mike. Bring your favorite book and tell us about it or just show it to us. Also share a piece of book cake provided by Fresh Market.
Join the Millhopper Library on Tuesday, May 8th at 2:00 PM for the 2nd Annual Kids Love Books! Enjoy crafts, games and trivia about some of your favorite books. Treats provided by Publix.
