The Alachua County Library District Governing Board and the Library District Board of
Trustees met in joint special session.

PRESENT: Chair Mike Byerly, Vice-Chair Eileen Roy, Governors Paula M. Delaney, Scherwin Henry, Craig Lowe, and Lee Pinkoson
Board of Trustees Chair Dorothy Field, Trustees Vivian L. Filer, Ryan S. Litsey, and Harold B. Wilber

ABSENT: Board of Trustees Vice-Chair Kim A. Worley, Trustees Joel M. Buchanan and Carol A. Higman

ALSO PRESENT: Library Director Sol Hirsch, County Attorney David Wagner, Assistant Clerk/Finance Director Todd Hutchison, Deputy Clerk Bob Decker

The meeting was not televised.
Chair Byerly opened the meeting at 10:22 A.M.

I. APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Trustee Filer moved adoption of the agenda. The motion carried 4-0.
Governor Lowe moved adoption of the agenda. The motion carried 6-0.

II. FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 TENTATIVE BUDGET

Library Director Sol Hirsch presented the above item.
Chair Byerly recognized Assistant Clerk/Finance Director Todd Hutchison and
Administrative Services Director Shaney Livingston who presented comments to the
Board.
Trustee Wilber moved to approve the budget.

Board of Trustees Chair Field recognized Library Director Sol Hirsch who
presented comments to the Boards.

The motion carried 4-0.

III. CITIZEN COMMENT

There were no citizens present who wished to provide comments to the Boards.

I. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA

Governor Pinkoson moved approval of the Consent and Regular Agendas.
The motion carried 5-0, with Governor Delaney out of the room.

A. Ratification of Warrant List

Staff Recommended Action: The attached Warrant Lists are recommended
for ratification by the Governing Board.

B. Purchase Order Increase - Florida league of Cities

Staff Recommended Action: Approve the purchase order increase in the
amount of $1,625.00 and authorize the Governing Board Chair to sign the
change order.

C. Purchase Order Increase - Coverall Cleaning Concepts

Staff Recommended Action: Approve the purchase order increase in the
amount of $6,156.00 and authorize the Governing Board Chair to sign the
change order.

D. Purchase Order Increase - Absolute Access and Security

Staff Recommended Action: Approve the purchase order increase in the
amount of $384.16 and authorize the Governing Board Chair to sign the change
order.
