For those who are fans of C.S. Lewis and his Chronicles of Narnia, the long awaited third book in the series, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, will open Dec. 10.
This time Edmund and Lucy, accompanied by their unwilling and unpleasant cousin Eustace, enter the magical world of Narnia through an enchanted painting and find themselves on board the Dawn Treader. Built by young King Caspian, this is the first ship Narnia has seen in centuries. Along with Reepicheep, the daring Mouse, they embark on a noble voyage to find the seven lords of Narnia, good men who were banished during the dark rule of Caspian’s evil uncle Miraz. Adventures and dangers await them as they sail farther and farther from charted waters beyond the Silver Sea, toward the End of the World where they hope to find the mystical home of Aslan, the majestic Lion and King and Lord of all Narnia.
