The Alachua County Library District Governing Board met in regular session.
PRESENT: Chair Mike Byerly, presiding, Vice Chair Eileen Roy, Governors Paula
M. DeLaney, Scherwin Henry, Craig Lowe, and Lee Pinkoson
ALSO PRESENT: Library Director Sol Hirsch, County Attorney David Wagner, Clerk to
the Board J. K. Irby, Assistant Clerk/Finance Director Todd
Hutchison, and Deputy Clerk Bob Decker
The meeting was not televised.
Chair Byerly opened the meeting at 10:30 A.M.
I. APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT AGENDA
Governor Delaney moved approval of the Consent Agenda. The motion
carried 5-0, with Governor Henry out of the room.
(The items on the Consent Agenda are of a routine nature. The motion to
approve the Consent Agenda approved all items and the recommended actions on the
Consent Agenda.)
A. Warrant Lists
Staff Recommended Action: Approve the Warrant Lists.
B. Minutes of Meetings
Staff Recommended Action: Approve the Minutes of the September 9, 2009,
September 23, 2009, and October 22, 2009 Regular Governing Board Meetings
and the September 9, 2009 and September 23, 2009 Public Budget Hearings.

Staff Recommended Action: Approve the proposed revisions to the Library
District’s “Vehicle and Equioment Operation “Policy Statement.

E. Purchase Order to Library Interiors of Florida, Inc.
Staff Recommended Action: Approve the issuance of Purchase Order
#310159 to Library Interiors of Florida, Inc., in the amount of $270,610.12, for
furniture and shelving for the Millhopper Branch Library and authorize the
Governing Board Chair to sign.
F. Purchase Order to CDW-Government, Inc. for Computers
Staff Recommended Action: Approve the issuance of Purchase Order
#310158 to CDW-Government, Inc. in the amount of $80,040.00 and authorize
the Governing Board Chair to sign the Purchase Order.
