There are a number of features available for patrons under the My Account menu of our catalog. This blog will outline some of those features.
In the catalog, click the My Account menu, then select My Record from the dropdown menu. Enter either your library card number and PIN, or, if you've created one, your username and password. The general My Record screen is brought up, where you will see a summary of your account. Here, in the top section of the screen, you can find your name, barcode, number of items checked out, holds requests available/pending, and any messages that may be unread.

On this screen you can also review your patron account information, and update your email and phone number if necessary (address changes require a visit to a library branch location). Click the "Contact Information and Preferences" link to make changes to your account.

There is also a box to check, under the Preferences heading, that allows you to maintain your reading list. Checking this box will enable a reading list, which will be a record of all materials you check out from the library, beginning with your first checkouts after you enable this feature. Please note: Your reading history will upload each night. Changes are not recorded online immediately.

If you've turned on your Reading History, you can select it to see your Reading History list of all items that have been checked out on your account. Individual items can be removed from this list at any time by placing a check mark next to the title, then clicking the Delete Selected button.
Back under Preferences, you also have the option to receive E-receipts by Email or Text. By selecting one of these options, you will receive your checkout receipts electronically (rather than on printed slips of paper)

A current list of items checked out can be found under the Items Out menu. You can also view the material type, title, due date and renewals left for each item.
Overdue items (if any) will be in red at the top of the record. You can renew any number of items from the catalog (even if they are overdue) up to two times each, as long as there are no holds on the item, and the items have not entered into billed status.
The Hold Requests link shows all materials that have been requested, and the current status of each.

When you're finished, don't forget to Log Out of your account! Click the Log Out button located under your name on the left hand side of the screen, or click My Account, Log Out from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen.
