GAINESVILLE, FL – Alachua County Library District is pleased to announce that they will now offer every patron with a library card online access to free expert job coaching through the JobNow program from Brainfuse, Inc. Patrons of all ages can access the Library District’s eBranch at www.aclib.us from public computers in their local library or from home, and connect one-to-one to a trained job coach for assistance in their job search process.  The JobNow service offers personality assessments for individuals just beginning their job search as well as resume and cover letter templates and examples, live interview practice, online resources, local job search websites, and more.

Any Alachu County Library District cardholder can access JobNow, seven days a week and connect for a one-to-one session with a carefully-selected and fully-qualified job coach. Spanish speaking coaches are also available.

About JobNow

JobNow provides library patrons with a host of services to help in every step of the job search process.  The JobNow job coaches are available to help patrons with any and all job search related questions.  All coaches possess four-year college degrees, must undergo a rigorous selection and training process, and must complete a full background and security check.  In addition to helping beginning job seekers pinpoint their desired career field, coaches can also provide constructive suggestions on resumes, help write a professional cover letter, and give live interview practice and feedback.   

Don’t have time for live resume help?  Simply submit your resume at any time of day through the JobNow Resume Lab and a job coach will send it back to you within 24 hours with detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement. 

The JobNow service also comes with an extensive collection of resources, including resume/cover letter templates, interview tips, general sample interview questions, industry-specific sample interview questions, and a vast array of online resources and links.
