GAINESVILLE, FL- Join University of Florida Graduate, and local author Glenn Munyan at The Library Partnership Saturday, March 13th at 2:00PM for a reading of Max City Dog a children’s chapter book that has timeless appeal and humorously addresses universal themes, such as love, acceptance, and self-worth.
Max City Dog is the perfect story if you have ever experienced fear, doubt, embarrassment, or humiliation, if you ever wondered if you were good enough, or thought you looked different from everyone else. If you have ever felt this way then you have something in common with Max, an Aussie, who feels he doesn't fit it. With the help of a best friend and the unconditional love of a truly special owner, Max finds strength and realizes that his limitations are largely inside his head.

Glenn Munyan grew-up in a suburb of Boston, Massachusetts. The book Max City Dog is loosely based on his mother’s experience. Glenn currently lives in Gainesville, Florida, where he received his Pharmacy degree. He studied Creative Writing and Film at the University of North Florida, Jacksonville. He spends his free time writing and teaching six year old Emilia how to care for their Aussie, Lola.
