Need a valuable school resource?

September is Library Card Sign-up Month, a time when Alachua County Library District joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that every student has the most important school supply of all – a free library card. 

College students can learn more about library services and sign up for a library card at Smathers Library on the University of Florida campus September 12 to 16, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Santa Fe College campus in the Oak Grove area on September 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Library cards are free to those living in Florida. Borrowing privileges are granted on the spot after signing up with proper identification.
