The Alachua County Library District Governing Board and the Alachua County
Library District Board of Trustees met in joint special session.
PRESENT: Chair Pegeen Hanrahan, presiding, Governors Paula M.
DeLaney, Craig Lowe, and Lee Pinkoson
Board of Trustees Chair Dorothy Field, Vice Chair Kim
Worley, Trustees Joanne Auth, Vivian Filer, Carol Higman,
and Harold Wilber
ABSENT: Vice-Chair Mike Byerly, Governor Eileen Roy
Trustee Joel Buchanan
ALSO PRESENT: Library Director Sol Hirsch, County Attorney David Wagner,
Deputy Clerk Bob Decker
The meeting was not televised.
Chair Hanrahan opened the meeting at 11:08 A.M.
ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
Governor Lowe moved adoption of the agenda for the Governing
Board. The motion carried 4-0.
Governor DeLaney left the room at 11:09 A.M.
Trustee Filer moved adoption of the agenda for the Board of Trustees.
The motion carried 6-0.
Governor Lowe left the room at 11:10 A.M.
LONG RANGE FACILITIES AND SERVICE PLAN - FISCAL YEARS 2009
Library Director Sal Hirsch presented the above item.

Governor Pinkoson left the room at 12:07 P.M.
Trustee Higman moved that the Board of Trustees accept the Long
Range Facilities and Service Plan. The motion carried 6-0.
Library Director Sol Hirsch stated that the Governing Board would adopt
the Long Range Facilities and Service Plan at a future meeting.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 12:16 P.M.
