Dolphin Tale 2 comes to the library

Two dolphins are rescued.  One loses her tail and the other is so young that she never learned how to hunt.  Neither is able to be released back into the wild.  This story seems awfully fishy, but it is based on actual events.

With a Florida marine aquarium as the backdrop to this film, Dolphin Tale 2 continues to follow the life of Winter, an amazing dolphin who had lost her tail in the first movie.  Three years after having been rescued, Winter is stressed and lonely when her older dolphin tank-mate passes away.  And to make matters worse, her prosthetic tale is really giving her problems.  As if that isn’t bad enough, a USDA inspector shows up on the scene intent on taking Winter away from her home and adopted family.

Is there any Hope?

Find out when the Alachua branch library airs Dolphin Tale 2 on Sunday, January 18th at 2:00 pm.
