News Flash – Patrons taking things from the Library

Beginning in October, the Alachua branch library will be presenting special Make it/Take it craft programs.  What is Make it/Take it, you ask?  Well, you come in, you make a craft, and then you take it home with you -- Make it/Take it!

The first program, “Crazy Hats”, will take place on October 6th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.  Patrons, ages 5 through 19, will be able to create a beautiful, crazy, fun head cover to match their personality, shoes, or eye color.

“Reptiles Roam” at the library on October 20th, from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.  Slither and slip and hop your way in to create your very own gator keychain or origami frog.

October 27th brings all of the ghosties, goolies, long-leggedy beasties, and things that go bump in the night into the Alachua branch library from 4:00 to 5:00 pm for some frighteningly fantastical Halloween crafts.

All Make it/Take it programs will be on designated Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.  Supplies will be provided.
