Throwback Tech at the Alachua Branch

Get up close and personal with the retromedia in our Throwback Tech display at the Alachua Branch Library as part of Teen Tech Week.   Displayed are vinyl albums, 8-track tapes, compact cassettesa reel-to-reel tape, and an entry-level MacIntosh.

On Wednesday, March 11, from 3:00-5:00 pm  join us for our Teen Tech Week Old School Music Explosion where you can jive to music from the sixties to the nineties  played on LP vinyl albums and 8 track tapes, - plus more far out stuff! You might even get to spin vinyl like a DJ!

More Teen Tech Week special events during the week of March 9 - March 13 include Gator Robotics at the Hawthorne Branch on Monday, March 9, at 3:30 PM and at Headquarters on Wednesday, March 11, at 5:00 PM.

On Thursday, March 12, the searches begin as the Library Partnership is offering an Internet Scavenger Hunt at 4:00 PM and the Tower Road Branch is having a Teen' QR Codes Scavenger Hunt also at 4:00 PM.

Specific times not working for you?  That's cool.  The Headquarters location will have events all week Monday through Friday and the Archer Branch offers a week-long series of events from Sunday through Thursday.
