Tired of school but afraid Winter Break will be boring?

On December 29th, 30th, and 31st the Alachua branch library will be presenting their 3-day “Animate Your Winter Break” movie marathon to stop those winter blues in their tracks!

It’s freezing outside.  Are you ready for a cool snow-covered adventure?  This snowy tale will be the first movie in the marathon.

Join four super-cool heroes as they take on a frosty quest to find the Snow Queen and save the kingdom from an icy doom!

So, don’t let the winter break blues rage on, let it go and chill out on Monday, December 29th at 2:00 pm. with this frigid flick.

Continue to animate your winter break on Tuesday, December 30th at 2 PM with the second film in the marathon.

What do you do when you’re an ordinary guy (that just happens to be a small toy) who is mistaken for the one person in the world who can take on an evil villain and save the world?

You embark on an epic quest and save the world, of course!

Fall in love with this totally unprepared hero as he teams up with a super group of awesome strangers to defeat the evil tyrant and unstick the universe.  It’s cool to be part of this team!

And last but not least, ride the wave of winter with this high-flying flick, loosely based on a series of books written by British author, Cressida Cowell.

When an evil Viking plots to take over the world, can this teenager stop dancing and dreaming long enough to unite humans and dragons to save the island?  Will he be able to defend his tribe against this formidable foe and his powerful dragon hypnotism?  Or will evil rule the day?

Could this be the end of dragons?

Find out when you join the Alachua branch library on Wednesday, December 31st at 2 PM, as we present the third and final movie in our “Animate Your Winter Break” movie marathon.
