Tired of school but afraid Winter Break will be boring?

On December 27th and 28th the Alachua branch library will be presenting their 2-day “Winter Movie Matinee” to stop those winter blues in their tracks!

                                                                                                   It’s freezing outside.

Join us in the warm ocean waters of our first matinee movie, Finding Dory. Swim along with this super-cool father and son duo as they take on an epic undersea adventure to help their friend Dory find her family. Will our forgetful friend find out who she really is only to forget again?

Remember to join us on Tuesday, December 27th at 12:00 pm. for this fun, family friendly flick.

Our second matinee movie, Kubo and the two strings, finds our hero wanting nothing more than to remain is his tiny village by the sea. But, when an enemy spirit from the past shows up, it will be up to Kubo, son of a legendary Samurai warrior, to carry on the family legacy.  Will Kubo be able to turn the tide against evil and gain his father’s magical suit of armor? And, what does all of this have to do with two strings?

Find out on Wednesday, December 28th at 12:00 pm when we show Kubo and the two strings.
