Tuesday, December 3, at 1:00 p.m. UF Health Street - Come in for free blood pressure monitoring and other services.

Wednesday, December 4, at 10:30 a.m. Senior Movie Day - Join us for a movie before lunch at the Ollie Mae Robinson Senior Center.

Thursday, December 5, at 4:00 p.m. Census Hiring Workshop - Learn how to sign up and apply online for 2020 Census Jobs.

Saturday, December 7, at 2:00 p.m. SewingSpace: Sewing Machine Intro - Join us and learn how to use our sewing machines and make a small quilted coaster. 

Thursday, December 12, at 4:00 p.m. Gingerbread House Decorating - Our third annual Gingerbread House Decorating Event! Both children and adults alike are welcome to come and participate in this fun holiday event! All supplies will be provided. What clever and tasty design will YOU come up with? 

Wednesday, December 18, at 10:30 a.m. A Christmas Carol: Presented by Jordan Glen School - Come to the Archer Community Center to see Jordan Glen School's 7th and 8th graders perform A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

Wednesday, December 18, at 5:45 p.m. Drop Spindle Class - Make your own drop spindle (or bring your own) to turn wool roving into yarn you can use for knitting, crochet, or any yarn craft!

Thursday, December 19, at 5:00 p.m. Art Lab - Teens and adults can come join us for a different art project every month.

Saturday, December 21, at 3:00 p.m. Movie Matinee: Getting into the Holiday Spirit - A hybrid holiday classic! Let Jack the Pumpkin King help you get ready for the holidays! (Rated PG)

Stitchers Circle is taking a break in December for the Holidays, but we'll be back in the New Year for more stitching!

Don't forget: The library district will be closed on Tuesday, December 24th, and Wednesday, December 25th, in observance of the Christmas holiday. Regular hours will resume Thursday, December 26th. We will also be closing early on Tuesday, December 31st, at 5:00 p.m. for New Year's Eve and closed on Wednesday, January 1st, for New Year's Day. Regular hours resume on Thursday, January 2nd. We hope to see you at the library soon!
