SMART 9-1-1 Information & Enrollment Program

Mobile phones don't link directly to an address or always include the caller’s name.

With Smart 911, you can register your mobile phone so emergency responders will have the exact address where you reside.

You can provide photos of yourself, your family and your home, where utilities are located, the physical condition and health level of family members, the medications they take, even pet information, including whether it is a service animal. You can list emergency contacts, register vehicles and provide language preferences.

Anytime you make a 9-1-1 call from the number registered, the information is available provided the agency which receives the call utilizes Smart911.

On October 11, 2016 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm, representatives from the Alachua County Enhanced-911 office will be at the Archer Branch Library to answer any questions you may have about Smart 911

Staff will also be available to assist any patrons who wish to enroll in the program.

What if you need to dial 911?
