Art Classes Inspired by Women Author/Illustrators

Three women author/illustrators will be featured across Wayfaring Painter's Summer at the Library Adult Summer Camp classes. Each session, participants will be re-introduced to childhood favorites that are sure to evoke long summer days spent reading and will inspire an art project to make and take.

Sam, Bangs & Moonshine: Cats, mermaids and 1960's cool - explore figurative and fashion illustration through block print techniques and the work of Evaline Ness. Thursday, July 18 at noon

The Little House: Draw inspiration from local historic homes and your own neighborhood in this fun and simple introduction to architectural illustration and the work of Virginia Lee Burton. Thursday, July 25 at noon

All classes will be held in Meeting Room B on the third floor.
