Spring Art Classes with the Wayfaring Painter

This spring the Wayfaring Painter will guide you through fun and informative art classes using a variety of mediums and techniques.  Classes are held on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. in Meeting Room Aor Saturday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. in Meeting Room B at the Headquarters Branch.

From realistic renderings to charming illustrations, explore the ways to depict your furry friend through a variety of media. Bring photo references or use one of ours!

recycled plastic bottlesSaturday, April 18, 2:30 pm - Plastic Fantastic

Learn new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle creatively. Participants will have the opportunity to explore plastic fabric, eco-bricking and assemblage sculpture. If you have plastic shopping bags, or plastic bottles (2 liter, juice, anthing without handles), bring them with you!

Pattern makingSaturday, May 2, 2:30 pm - Paint, Pattern and Play

We've all heard that every child is an artist, so why is it so hard to remain one once we've grown up? Come explore how process art, pattern-making and play can become a powerful everyday mindfulness practice.
