Shana Smith is a mom, musician, marine biologist, teacher, and writer. She is also a practitioner of Zen and meditation. You may have heard of her children's musical persona "Shana Banana." Shana has a new book, Meditation for Moms and Dads, which offers 108 tips for stressed out parents and caregivers. Shana will teach you how to cope through meditation and yoga. Your children are welcome to come along. They will be entertained while parents have a session of relaxation. Please join Shana on April 16th at 2:00 pm in Meeting Room A and learn to handle everything as a parent or caregiver of a child and how to relax. Shana's book will be available for purchase of the day of the event.
