Gainesville, Fla. – Florida author Tim Dorsey will take readers inside his latest mystery novel at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at Waldo Branch, 15150 NE U.S. Highway 301.
This event is free and open to the public. Dorsey’s books will be available for purchase and the author will begin signing at 4:30 p.m. Fans can also make a Dorsey-themed craft at 3:30 p.m. in the ARTspace before the main program.
Author of more than 20 novels, Tampa resident Dorsey will discuss “No Sunscreen for the Dead.” The novel follows Serge A. Storms and his companion Seymour "Coleman" Bunsen as they try to uncover who is swindling the elderly residents of a large retirement village, while evading detectives hot on their murderous heels. The Boston Globe called the book “compulsively irreverent and shockingly funny.”
