Wishlist basics

The catalog allows you to save wishlists of material you might want to review in the future, without the hassle of placing items on hold, and then suspending the holds. Instead, you can create multiple customized wishlists, and organize material by whatever standards you fancy. You can save multiple wishlists with different names, and edit, print, or email them at any time you wish!

 

To place an item in a wishlist:

1. From the library's catalog, click the My Account, menu, then select Log In from the dropdown menu.

2. Log into your library account, using your library card number and PIN (or, if you've created one, your username and password).

 

3.  Locate any item by searching the catalog.  Click the Add to List button located to the far right of the item.

 

4.  You will then have the option to add the title to an existing list, or to create a new list.  Click “[New List].” 

 

5.  A screen will appear, titled Create New Saved Title List.  Enter the name of your list (such as “Mysteries to read” or “Cookbooks”), then click the Create List button.

 

6.  The item is added to your list. You will see the name of your list at the top of the screen.

 

7.  Continue to browse the catalog, and click the “Add to My List” link to add items as you go.

 

 8.  You’ll see a note that the item has been added to your list.

 

To access lists you've created:

1.  Click on the Search menu located at the top of the catalog, then select My Lists from the dropdown menu.

2.  The My Lists screen will appear. Select any Saved Title List by clicking on it on the left-hand side of the screen, or by selecting it from the Show List dropdown menu.

 

To view/print/email lists you've created:

1.  Click on the Search menu located at the top of the catalog, then select My Lists from the dropdown menu.

2.  The My Lists screen will appear. Select any Saved Title List by clicking on it on the left-hand side of the screen, or by selecting it from the Show List dropdown menu.
 

3.  The list will be displayed.  To email, print or delete the list, click the appropriate action for the upper-right corner.

 

 

When you're finished, don't forget to Log Out of your account!  Click the Log Out button located under your name on the left hand side of the screen, or click My Account, Log Out from the dropdown menu at the top of the screen.
