Authors in October: David Leavitt & Patricia Lockwood

This Fall, Oct. 16 & 17, the Alachua County Library District will again be hosting author events in advance of the University of Florida's annual Writers Fest.

Wednesday, Oct. 16.  Local writer and professor David Leavitt will read from his new novel The Two Hotel Francforts at 7pm.  Read the NY Times review here.

Thursday, Oct. 17.  Poet Patricia Lockwood, a former Floridian, will be reading at 7:30pm.

Books will be available for purchase and signing at both events.  These readings are free and open to the public.  A full schedule of the Writers Fest events can be found here.
