Get ready for Halloween!

We have a seasonal treat for you on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1pm: Pam Maneeratana of Micanopy will be demonstrating her incredible carving skills.

Maneeratana studied Kae-Sa-Luk (the Art of Fruit and Vegetable Carving) in her native Thailand before coming to the United States.  Words don't do justice to the transformations she renders.  See for yourself on her website.

Pam will be carving a pumpkin and one lucky attendee will be taking that finished pumpkin home.

And check out her book in the library collection to start your own masterpieces.
