In 2017, the Book Café was introduced at the Millhopper Branch as part of the Book Tasting program. In the program participants were given menus with food dish titles but book subject describers listed below as clues to what the items were about. Each participant ordered one item from each course to sample for 15 minutes. Today, the Book Café is being brought to you virtually.
Welcome to the Book Café. Below is our menu. Read the description of each dish and if you wish to try a sample, simply click on the picture and choose "Read a Sample". If you decide you wish to order the item you sampled you can see if the sample has enough left over to be a complete dish by clicking the "Borrow" button or place the item on Hold for when it next becomes available. If you didn't like the portion type (format) of your sample but wish to get another portion type of the sample, click on the dish name in the menu to place your order on Hold. Thanks again for coming to the Book Café and bon appétit.
