Florida Author Project Contest

Are you the best indie-published author in Florida? Submit your work for a chance to win $500.

Submissions are accepted through Friday, May 31. Prizes and Eligibility are listed below.

The winners will receive:

  • $500 each in either the Adult and Young Adult categories
  • Honors at the 2020 Public Library Association Conference in Nashville
  • Opportunities to promote your book(s) at Florida Public Libraries*
  • Inclusion in a full-page print spread in Library Journal

Each book submitted:

  • Must be independently published
  • Must be Adult Fiction or Young Adult Fiction
  • Must be written by a Florida resident
  • Must be available in ePub or PDF formats

Authors may submit more than one work.
