Ron Cooper will present his fourth novel and first set in Florida, All My Sins Remembered on Saturday, August 11 at 2:00 pm in Meeting Room B at Library Headquarters. Cooper is a South Carolina native and has lived in Florida since 1988. He is Senior Professor of Humanities at the College of Central Florida. His much-praised debut novel, Hume's Fork, drew comparisons to John Kennedy O'Toole's A Confederacy of Dunces and earned him recognition as a finalist for the Bread Loaf Conference's Bakeless Literary Prize. Of his second novel, Purple Jesus, the Washington Post said its "publication is a literary event of the first magnitude" and that "Purple Jesus is so perfectly written, it's exhilerating to read." The Southern Literary Review called his third novel, The Gospel of the Twin, a "page-turning adventure marked by the same well-crafted prose of Cooper's other works." His new novel, All My Sins Remembered, is his first set in Florida.
