NaNoWriMo is…a shot of caffeine for my creative life.
NaNoWriMo is…the sword with which I slay the beast called doubt.
NaNoWriMo is…just the beginning.
I first participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) back in 2010 on a whim. I had no idea what I would write about, no plan, no inkling of what it would take to get 50,000 words written in just 30 days, and yet, I somehow managed it. I often describe it like a whirlwind, but it’s also infectious, depressing, beautiful, amazing torture. It’s a worthwhile undertaking for anyone interested in writing.
