Children’s author-illustrator Annette Simon will present Robot Zombies Invade the Library September 23

Children’s author-illustrator Annette Simon will present an interactive program, Robot Zombies Invade the Library, on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 6:30 p.m. at Headquarters Library. This fun evening will include readings from her books Robot Zombie Frankenstein! and Robot Burp Head Smartypants!, plus play with shapes and numbers. This free event is made possible by funding from the Friends of the Library.

Simon was once an advertising creative director who wrote and art-directed national print and TV campaigns. Now she’s an author-illustrator who creates picture books with belching robots. Simon said she could not feel more honored to write and draw for young readers.
