Cone Park Branch plans Recycling Clothes Day April 22

Cone Park Branch Library is seeking donations of new and gently used children’s and adult’s clothing for its Recycling Clothes Day, April 22, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.  Cone Park Resource Center and Cone Park Branch Library will honor National Recycling Day with this community clothing recycling event by giving all the clothes donated back to community members. Everyone is invited to Recycling Clothes Day.

Donations of gently worn or new spring and summer clothing for all ages may be taken to the Cone Park Branch Library anytime during hours of operation between now and April 15. Please make sure clothing is free of stains, holes, pet hair and smoke odor. Donated school uniforms would be greatly appreciated as well. Cone Park Branch Library is located at 2841A E. University Avenue. Hours are: Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
