Dr. Hilliard-Nunn will share history which includes excerpts of oral histories of several African Americans in Alachua County. The oral histories are a part of a work-in-progress which documents the history of African Americans in Gainesville, Florida.
She is a professor in the African American Studies Program at the University of Florida and Per MAAT Foundation, Inc. Her areas of research include: Media and Culture, Audience Analysis, and Enslaved Africans in Alachua County.
