Contemporary romance author Priscilla Oliveras will speak at Headquarters Library October 8

Alachua County Library District welcomes contemporary romance author Priscilla Oliveras on Sunday, October 8, 2 p.m., to Headquarters Library, 401 E. University Avenue. Oliveras, a four-time Golden Heart® finalist, strives to bring authenticity to her novels by sharing her Latino-American culture with her readers. She will talk about her published novel His Perfect Partner. It will be available for purchase and the author she will sign her book. This author event is part of the Library District’s celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 through October 15.

Oliveras has a Masters in Fine Arts in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University and teaches an on-line continuing education course entitled Romance Writing for ed2go. She is a sports fan, beach lover, half-marathon runner and consummate traveler who often practices the art of napping in her backyard hammock.
