Teen Tech Week

March 10 through 16 is Teen Tech Week in the library world and branches around the District are engaging teens with techno-fun programs.

Teens interested in building your own website or programming a robot can visit the Archer Branch on March 6 at 4:00 PM for an introductory class to learn the basics of HTML5, CSS, and LEGO Mindstorms.

Explore the latest in social networking with Pinterest and Goodreads at the Micanopy Branch on March 10 at 2:00 PM

Visit the Headquarters library all week, to participate in the Teen Tech Challenge and win a prize! Also at HQ don’t miss the Gator Robotics Demonstration on March 13 at 5:00 PM.

On March 14 or 3.14 also known as Pi Day visit the Millhopper Branch for Pi reciting, Pi tasting and other Pi challenges at 4:00 PM.

Also on March 14, Cone Park Branch will have a Teen Tech Week: Show and Tell and Alachua Branch will get techy with Pinterest and Good Reads both events start at 4:00 PM.

Tower Road Branch will have a crafty Teen Tech Week Extravaganza building candy box robots, star wars characters while watching tech movies on Saturday, March 16 at 1:00 PM.
