My Brother, Ant, but Betsy Byars.
This is an engaging simple read for that young family of yours. The two way interactions between the older and younger sibling are not so predictable, and the heart-warming dialogue is well framed by, Marc Simont’s, many delightful illustrations. Big brother to little brother; little brother to big brother: information flows both ways as the best parts of either birth order races each chapter’s pace. Is there a monster under a bed in your house? When do letters to Santa get sent? Who owns the power and who is the best scribbler? It’s all answered here—maybe. Enjoy.
