Join us at the Hawthorne Branch Library Wednesday, November 13, 12-3 p.m. for assistance with family court procedures such as dissolution of marriage, name changes, temporary custody, paternity, and the appropriate Pro Se packets of forms.
The Family Court Workshop is an event hosted by the Self-Help Center of the Alachua County Civil and Family Courthouse to assist citizens around Alachua County with a variety of family court procedures. The workshop will provide the appropriate Pro Se packets from the Eighth Judicial Circuit to the public free of charge. The Family Court Workshop allows you to work through the packet with assistance and ask questions as you go. No lawyers will be present and we cannot give any legal advice, however, all of your procedural questions can be answered.
The Alachua County Library District also offers FREE access to online eSources (databases) such as Gale Legal Forms for further research. Gale Legal Forms offers legal forms and information for family law, real estate, leases, small business, wills, and more. It’s available from home or within the library. It’s easy to search, and you can download, customize, and print the available forms.
