Writers Forum II: Reading Africa and America is part of an event commemorating James Baldwin and Chinua Achebe’s historic first encounter at the University of Florida in 1980.

Guest writers include:

  • Julie Iromuanya: Assistant Professor, Department of English Language & Literature, University of Chicago
  • Major Jackson: Distinguished Professor, Department of English, University of Vermont
  • Zahir JanMohamed: Rackman Merit Fellow, University of Michigan
  • Okey Ndibe: Viebrans Visiting Professor of Creative Writing, St. Lawrence University
