Peter Fletcher is a classical guitarist based in Detroit and New York City. He performs over 100 concerts a year and has a repertoire that covers music from the Renaissance Period through the 20th Century. He offers an audience friendly, solo recital. His current touring program, Music of Four Centuries, includes musical pieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Paganini, William Walton, Fedrico Mompou, Francisco Tarrega, and Isaac Albeniz. Among the musical numbers he will perform are Vivaldi's Concerto in D Major, Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, and the concert will culminate with Albeniz's Rumores de la Caleta, one of the most exicting Spanish works in the classical guitar repertoire. Fletcher has performed a number of times at New York City’s Carnegie Hall to full houses and excellent reviews. His current CD is Music of Edvard Grieg.
