CREATEspace in March: a time to make, learn, & explore

March at Headquarters Library starts off with a burst of CREATIVITY! The first 4 Saturdays in March we will be hosting a hands on CREATEspace program for adults, teens, and kids (with accompanying adult). CREATEspace is for all of us that are DIYers, curious, creative, and/or just like to tinker around.

Participants will be able to make, learn, explore, and share a variety of technologies:

  • 3D printing station
  • Ozobots basic coding station
  • Construction station
  • Fabric/sewing station
  • Electrical circuitry station
  • 3D Virtual Viewing
  • Google Doodle Scratch programming stations
  • Laptops for designing with modeling software.

All of the CREATEspace stations will be set up in the Storywoods Room on Saturday, March 3, 10 & 17. Saturday, March 24  will be held in Meeting Room A.  The four week program will allow each of the participants to have an opportunity to print an object on the 3D printer, as well as explore all the other technologies. Rumor has it that the BB8 robot and the Pancake bot will be making appearances.

CREATEspace will be Saturdays March 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 2-4 p.m. at Headquarters Branch.
