Literary Journalism is a type of creative nonfiction writing in which one writes a journalistic narrative about a person, place, thing, or event. Perhaps a profile of a curious character in the neighborhood or an overview of someone's interesting and unusual job? Join Fiona Lama, Santa Fe College professor as she offers a workshop on this unique type of writing and leads a workshop during which participants are welcome to start a literary journalism piece or receive feedback on one they have already begun. Fiona is a published writer in the area of creative nonfiction and has earned two Masters degrees, one from the University of Florida and one from Southern New Hampshire University. The workshop will take place on October 9 at 2:00 pm in Meeting Room B at the Headquarters branch.
