As a librarian at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College, Mrs. Dupree travelled throughout the United States to research and collect material about African American Pentecostal and Holiness Churches and individuals. As a result of research that started in 1981, a biographical dictionary of African American Pentecostal Churches and individuals was created. Over a period of time, she has collected original and secondary material that includes women founders, youth groups, schools, music, obituaries, and dissertations, among other historical documents. So, please come out and join her as she shares some of the research that’s been collected in her book, African-American Holiness Pentecostal Charismatic Research Project. Also, there will be an opportunity during the presentation to view her collection of historical material and purchase the book.
