Slow Food and Local Farming in North Central Florida

Discover all the natural sustainable local farms and artisan purveyors in and around Gainesville. These hidden gems provide us with grass-fed meats, pasteurized eggs, unique artisan goods, such as cheese, yoghurts, kombucha and naturally, sustainably grown produce. The health and econcomic benefits of these products to local citizens is tremedous. Certified Executive Chef Jeff Honeycutt is a graduate of the Orlando Culinary Academy- Le Cordon program with a degree in Culinary Management, winner of the Slow Food Golden Snail Award 2013, and sustainable farm educator. He has 16 years in the culinary profession. He is currently a Santa Fe student with plans to continue his studies at UF in Geomatics.
