Healthcare Marketplace Navigators to assist consumers with insurance enrollment and Affordable Care Act questions

December 20, 2013

Beginning in January, trained navigators will be available at five library locations to help consumers find answers to their insurance and Affordable Care Act questions, as well as assist in signing up for a Marketplace account and applying for insurance. Navigators will explain the application process and results as well as provide guidance on next steps based on the consumer’s choice.

The navigator is an unbiased resource that will not provide recommendations on plan purchase or choice. Navigators are provided by the Suwannee River Area Health Education Center.
