3rd Annual "Kids Love Books" Event is May 5, at High Springs Branch.

Join us at the High Springs Branch Library on Tuesday, May 5th at 3:30pm for the 3rd Annual Kids Love Book event to celebrate Children's Book Week. Check out the booths behind the library all about some of your favorite book characters: "Fly Guy" by Tedd Arnold and superheroes galore.

Join us for crafts, games, sno cones and prizes. Also enjoy pony and cart rides from Party Animals Pony Rides and other refreshments provided by the High Springs Friends of the Library. You'll get to decorate your own superhero mask, get your face painted and become a superhero in our photobooth (so bring your camera). Join the fun and dress up as your favorite superhero if you want.

"Established in 1919, Children's Book Week is the longest running national literacy initiative in the country. Every year, commerative events are held nationwide at schools, libraries, bookstores, homes -- wherever young readers and books connect!" To learn more, check out www.bookweekonline.com
