Doris Day dead at age 97

Doris DayBeloved actress and singer Doris Day has died of pneumonia at the age of 97 at her Carmel Valley, California, home early this morning, Monday, May 13, 2019. Her career spanned decades and a variety of movies. Doris’ career began as a singer first at a Cincinnati radio station, followed by a stint at a local nightclub, and then to New York. In 1948 her first film was Romance on the High Seas, however her best known film was titled Pillow Talk, Released in 1959 and co-starring Rock Hudson.
