A clip art of a stylized treeHave you always been curious about your family history but weren't sure where to start? Join us at Tower Road Library as we go over the basics of how to start your own family tree.

We are offering two sessions to help you get started. Our first session is August 12th 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Our second session is September 10th 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.

We'll go over the basics of how to start your genealogy research. In these sessions we'll discuss various tools to assist you with organization as well as library resources to help you on your journey. We will do a brief tutorial of relevant databases.

Please register for one of these events. Computer space is limited so participants are encouraged to bring laptops or tablets if you have them.

Looking for something more advanced? Try our Genealogy: Beyond the Basics program on October 2nd from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm where Caroline Huguet, our resident genealogy librarian, will stop in and share her expertise!
