ASL for Beginners starting April 6

This fun language course for children, teens and families will teach the manual alphabet and basics of American Sign Language.

The intergenerational classes are open to everyone. Parents need not fear that they will be judged if their children with disabilities cannot sit still or keep quiet. Adults with disabilities are welcome to attend with their assistants. We have assistive listening devices available for those who require them. If you've just always had an interest in learning ASL, come on down!

Join us on Wednesdays, April 6, 13, 27 and May 4 @ 11am-noon in the Storywoods Room @ Headquarters Library. It is fine if you can’t make all the dates. You are still encouraged to attend. ASL for Beginners is all-inclusive.

Please check out the ASL materials available in our catalog here.
