Music and Movement with Madison

Music and Movement is great for children. It helps develop their brains with rhythms and repetition, as well as their fine motor skills when you add scarves or instruments. This program is geared toward toddlers, preschoolers, and their families. We encourage everyone to put on some music and either play with instruments (you can make many instruments with simple household items) or just march or dance around the room. It's a great way to get some exercise and have fun together!

In this program, Millhopper Branch Library Specialist Madison Snyder will lead us in some familiar songs with a twist.

Opening Song: “Hello, How Are You?” - We use opening songs to help kids feel comfortable with repetition.

Second Song: “Put Your Hands Up High” - Get ready to wiggle and quack like a duck!

Third Song: “Zoom, Zoom, Zoom!” - Hope you like to fly, we're going to the moon.

Fourth Song: “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” - A classic with a twist, watch out for crocodiles!

Closing Song: “Now It’s Time to Say Goodbye” - We're sorry to see you go, thank you for joining us online today.
