Parent Crafting Workshop: May 14, 6 pm at Headquarters Library

Have you ever wanted to make your own poster?  Spell out your child’s name in gold letters?  Make a soft book for your little one?  Give your favorite teacher a nice gift for her classroom?  Come to our Parent Crafting Workshops!  The second Monday evening of March, April, and May, at 6:00pm, we will offer our best art supplies, equipment, and machinery for you to make your very own creation.

March 12       6pm    Make a felt Busy Book for your toddler or an altered book for your teen

April 9            6pm    Use die cut letters, shapes, and objects to spell out your child’s name or your own

May 14           6pm    Laminate a keepsake or make a poster (please come prepared with a saved document if you want to turn it into a flyer or giant poster)

Our die cut machines, card stock, poster paper, giant printer, and laminator will be available for you to use. Look at the creative book displays at your favorite library, and get your own ideas of what you want to make and take.  Staff and volunteers will be on hand to encourage and assist you.
