Summer Reader Palooza was a fizzy blast

Kids celebrated with Fizz, Boom, Read! activities at Summer Reader Palooza on Saturday, August 9 from 10 am - 12:00 pm at the Library Headquarters branch. The celebration was perfect for children ages 4-11 with their families or caregivers.

Lots of community groups who specialize in science were at Reader Palooza and shared some fun activities like yoga, making gak, creating snake puppets, and designing stethoscopes. Other community groups shared fun information about outer space, beekeeping, gardening, and rocks. Definitely be some Fizz, Boom, Fun was included!

Everyone took home their creations and learned about science and fun reading. Visit your local branch all year long for more great programs.
